Welcome to the Lake Elsinore Historical Society Website!
The Society was founded to collect, protect, preserve, display, and
further the preservation of items and documents of historical value and
significance from the Lake Elsinore Valley.
The Society was conceived and organized in 1996.
We have two museums located in historic downtown Lake Elsinore.
The Main Street Museum is located at 106 South Main Street in Lake Elsinore,
California, and is open on Saturdays 11:00AM to 3:00PM and Sundays from
1:00PM to 4:00PM. The Museum and Research Library is located in
the basement of the City of Lake Elsinore's Cultural Center at 183 North
Main Street and is open on Wednesdays from 11:00AM to 3:00PM.
Donations are graciously accepted. If you would like to make a
material donation, please call Linda Ridenour at 951-678-2300. If
you would like to make a monetary donation, please make your check
payable to Lake Elsinore Historical Society and mail it to Post Office
Box 84, Lake Elsinore, CA 92531-0084.
The Lake Elsinore Historical Society is a nonprofit organization under
Internal Revenue Code, Section 501(c)3.
